(8-31-26) Compost & Wood Chip Spreading — Week of August 31-September 5th

Moderate–Strenuous: Shovels, rakes, and wheelbarrow work in partial and/or open sun.

The compost has landed and the wood chip pile is waiting! We're setting up new beds, laying wood chips on the pathways, and spreading compost to create the new front flower cutting beds that will hold our September cool-flower transplants.

Work this 1-hour shift and leave with a standard wrapped bouquet or jar ($20 value), handed to you same-day at the end of your hour. Plus a Flower Club t-shirt is waiting for you (for new work-trade participants)!

• Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get dirty — we provide tools, gloves, and cold water
• For adults and kids 12+ working alongside a parent
• Weather permitting — if we cancel, everyone signed up gets an email and first pick of the makeup date
