Your Wedding Flowers Shouldn’t Cost More than Your Dress

As a farmer florist, I specialize in micro weddings, intimate celebrations, and elopements. I grow the majority of what goes into your bouquet right here on our farm in Franklinville — and when I need to fill gaps or source specialty varieties, I turn to a trusted circle of local flower farmers from NJ and PA who grow with the same care and intention we do.

No national wholesale market. No flowers that traveled a thousand miles before they reached your hands. Just honest, seasonal stems from real local farms.

Why a Farmer Florist Is Different

Most florists source from national wholesale markets — flowers that have traveled hundreds, sometimes thousands of miles before they reach your bouquet. By the time they arrive, they've already been through a lot. Ours haven't.

The majority of your wedding flowers were growing in our fields in Franklinville just days before your wedding day. When I need to supplement or source something special, I reach out to fellow local flower farmers in New Jersey and Pennsylvania — growers I know personally, who share our commitment to seasonal, intentional growing.

What you get is fresher, longer-lasting, and more beautiful than anything that came off a wholesale truck. And because I'm not marking up flowers I bought from a national distributor, you get a florist-quality experience at a price that actually fits a real wedding budget.

That's what it means to work with a farmer florist.

The Season of Local Flowers

One of the most beautiful parts of working with a farmer florist is that your flowers reflect the actual season you're getting married in. Here's a general guide to what's typically available throughout our growing season — updated as our fields and partner farms expand:

Spring (April — Late May) through Early Summer (June — Late July)

For Spring, think double/peony tulips, ranunculus, anemones, sweet peas, snapdragons, stock, snapdragons, flowering dogwood, daffodils, hellebores, lilac, peonies, and more. For Early Summer, think garden roses, specialty sunflowers, snapdragons, cosmos, peonies, sweet William, scabiosa, bachelor's button, yarrow, campanula, early zinnias, and more.

Peak Summer (August — September) through Fall (October — November)

For Peak Summer, think dahlias, zinnias, specialty sunflowers, celosia, amaranth, gomphrena, lisianthus, rudbeckia, globe amaranth, echinacea, grasses, late cosmos and more. For Fall, dahlias (still going strong), dried grasses, celosia, strawflower, amaranth, late zinnias, marigolds, seed heads, dried botanicals, and more.

This list grows as we do. As our farm expands and our grower network deepens, so does what we can offer. If you have a specific idea in mind, reach out — we'll always be honest about what's possible.

The Dorazio Wedding - September 2025

Whimsical, natural, and timeless — this September wedding was peak season in the most beautiful way. Dahlias, zinnias, and seasonal greenery in warm, earthy tones that felt like the farm came to the celebration. Stephanie was our first bride, and this moment was truly one we will never forget!

Ready to Book?

We recommend reaching out at least 6–12 months before your wedding date for peak season bookings. We'll always try to accommodate shorter timelines when possible. Honestly, it's kind of become our specialty for our last-minute brides, and I'm proud of that!

A 50% non-refundable retainer secures your date. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your event.

We serve South Jersey and surrounding areas. Travel beyond 10 miles from Franklinville is available by quote — just ask.

Reserve Your Date

A Few Things People Ask

How far in advance should I book?

As early as possible for peak season dates (May through October). Typically, our couple reserve at least 12 months in advance. We recommend at least 2–3 months out for weddings, though we’ll always try to accommodate shorter timelines when we can. It's kind of become our thing!

Do you travel to venues?

Yes! We serve South Jersey and surrounding areas. Mention your venue location in your inquiry and we’ll confirm availability.

Can I choose a color palette?

Absolutely. We'll build a palette around what's in season on the farm and through our local grower network at your wedding date. We'll always be upfront about what's available and suggest beautiful alternatives.

Can I request specific flowers?

Our wedding florals are typically farmer's choice. Our offerings are guided by what's growing around your wedding date — on our farm and from our trusted local NJ and PA grower partners.

We'll always be honest with you about what's possible and suggest gorgeous alternatives when needed.

Do you offer a Bloom Bar for the reception?

Yes! A DIY bouquet Bloom Bar makes a beautiful addition to a cocktail hour or reception. Learn more about Bloom Bar Rentals here.

Your Flowers Should Feel as Personal as Your Vows

We grow them ourselves, source them from people we trust (to fill in any gaps), price them honestly, and care about your day as much as you do.

That's what it means to work with a farmer florist. We genuinely love being part of it.
